Backlog

Unscheduled work is listed by order: remaining operations, estimated time, due date and urgency. Open an order and select the operations to schedule.

Draft

Drag operations onto the timeline or ask for an automatic scheduling proposal. Dependencies, shifts and work-center capacity are taken into account.

Commit

Validation reports conflicts before you commit. A committed plan is versioned and reaches the shop floor in real time.

Automatic scheduling proposal
FluXion proposes a placement based on dependencies and capacity. The planner approves or adjusts.
Dependencies and the order journey
The sequence of operations holds on the timeline. An order’s whole route through the work centers is visible at a glance.
Workload and utilization
Work-center utilization is calculated from scheduled time and shifts. Overload is visible before commitment.
Validation before commitment
Overlaps, broken dependencies and missing skills are raised in the draft.
Versions, undo and redo
Draft changes can be undone. Committed plans are versioned and lock the tasks.
Real-time collaboration
Several planners see the same changes immediately. Locks prevent conflicting commits.
Time breakdown
Setup, process and teardown are shown separately; process time is based on the ordered quantity.

Frequently asked questions

Does automatic scheduling replace the planner?
No. The proposal is a draft that the planner reviews and adjusts where needed. Nothing changes on the shop floor before commitment.
What happens when the plan changes during the day?
A committed change reaches the work queues in real time. Work in progress is not interrupted, and shop-floor actuals update the plan status back to the planner.
